Sim Lab

Sim-Lab, a Dutch manufacturer of high-quality sim racing cockpits and accessories, allows sim racers worldwide to experience a real-life racing experience from home. The company was founded in 2015 in the garage of Richard Schouteren (Founder) and has since grown into the market leader in sim racing cockpits with customers in more than 50 countries. This rapid growth has even been rewarded with 2 Gazelle awards over the years. In addition to the well-known sim racing cockpits, Sim-Lab also offers various accessories, such as pedals and steering wheels. They stand out from the market through their attractive prices and highly rated service.

De Uitdaging

Before joining Polaris Growth, Sim-Lab worked with a small team where everyone took on many responsibilities. As a result, only 2 flows were live and therefore not all options for e-mail marketing were used. Finally, Richard decided to look for an agency to help Sim-Lab with this. Since Klaviyo was already working with, he soon joined Polaris Growth. After a good click with Omar, we were able to get to work!

As a first step, Polaris Growth helped set up SIM-Lab's Klaviyo account properly. Various components in both the configuration and email flows were not set up properly. After that, we were able to get started building and putting the flows live (onboarding flow, browse abandonment flow and abandoned cart flow). In addition, Sim-Lab also had a large list of e-mail addresses in Mailchimp. Since it contained many fake e-mail addresses, we have helped to identify them and remove them from the list. Subsequently, this list was transferred to Klaviyo.

After the first 3 months, Sim-Lab has indicated that it is happy with the way the emails were put together. They describe the emails as a breath of fresh and creative energy that gives them a lot of energy. Furthermore, the Klaviyo account performs well in terms of metrics and they are satisfied with Polaris Growth's drive. The communication is described as fast and to the point and Sim-Lab has indicated that since hiring Polaris Growth, real steps have been taken to take their email marketing to the next level!

The number of email signups has increased significantly, as has the turnover from email.
